Tom's has closed

The time has come to finally pull the curtain down on Tom’s Dining Rooms / Skandia Restaurants, after serving food in Bangor for over 50 years.

Once again, I want to reiterate that it has been a privilege for our family to be part of the Bangor community, serving so many people and helping to create wonderful memories of all kinds of celebrations over the years.

Our final curtain call will be on Monday 16th February. Please note that all vouchers will be honoured in Tom’s until then, and thereafter in our other two restaurants, Neill’s Hill and Pepito.

Thank you so much to all of you who have been so supportive of our restaurants over the years, and especially since we shared that we were calling time. Your memories and kind words, shared online and face to face, have been overwhelming and deeply humbling to all of us.

Calling time has been a very hard decision and experience, but one I feel at peace about. Thank you for all the wonderful memories you have given me, and for the privilege of serving food for you through the joy of new life, the loss of those dearly loved, and all the celebrations and events in between - memories for all of us to treasure.

Truly, thank you so, so much for your faithful custom over many, many years, and a very special thank you to all those great staff who made it possible. It has been a true team effort.
